As many of you will know, our April cruise was cancelled by Fred Olsen. The ship we were due to sail in, the M.S. Balmoral had been laid up in Scotland since the beginning of the pandemic, being crewed by a minimum skeleton crew. When it came time to bring back into service and make ready for 2023 cruises, the powers that be within Fred Olsen, realised, what many of us would know, that when a ship is laid-up, it takes a lot of work and expense to bring back into service. As such they decided to cancel all cruises and sell the ship. I have since been in negotiations with Fred Olsen regarding a replacement cruise. We now have a cruise leaving on the same date (April 28th) and leaving from the same port (Southampton), sailing to Amsterdam and Rotterdam. I have managed to get a reasonable discount, along with a free drinks package, which would normally cost £24.99 per night per person. As there is going to be no annual reunion this year, this may be a good chance to meet-up with fellow members, or just make a short holiday out of it for you and your family and or friends
