Hello, going through my Mother's effects I found an 11 page letter from Leading Seaman Richard A Broadway to my Mother, sent from Durban SA after the Battle of Crete 1941. It is very graphic about what he saw and experienced at the time of the engagement. I have tried to find records of Richard but alas I cannot find any other than he does not appear on casualty lists.
